It was 2010 when the name of Uber, the world’s largest taxi company, became popular. And well, it was not too far from the expectation that the idea of launching such a start-up would reach Iran. It was in 2013 that Shahram Shahkar, a student of electrical engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, founded the first public transport start-up in Iran.
